So I listen to you and I don’t see the conservatives of today behaving the way you described. I believe you , it’s just that I think things have become extreme to where people on both sides are not acting according to the best interest of all peoples freedom . I mean they ( conservatives) are trying to make radical changes with abortion for one example yet they don’t believe in radical change ? How is that respecting individual freedom? My personality type is both conscientious and open . Explains why I feel I can see both sides views at times in certain issues but I’ve moved more to the left because the right seems to be bypassing their conscienceness these days and following someone I don’t trust at all . I think in their hearts they’re good people but I feel they’re being a bit blind . Like you said , radical change is what happens all throughout history and it’s often change for the better . I disagree with you to some extent; To insinuate that Conservatives do not like change or stagnate with their beliefs is rather misleading and insulting, especially when it was the conservative themselves who eventually found it immoral to own slaves and other Liberal and Leftist norms. It appears that you are painting Conservatives as the "mini Stalins" capable of becoming dictators...... Insulting!! Free conservative societies are considered utopian because each individual citizen possesses great moralistic standards through their Christian Beliefs from which the Republic was founded by. Do not forget that it was the English/Christians who were the ones leaving England to find their "New World". It was the same Christians who revolted against the British rule and gained their INDEPENDENCE. Conservatives do not like excessive Laws in the books to rule society but instead ultimately find them necessary as a buffer to tolerate the slow growth of the "cancerous" Liberal and leftist beliefs.

In the US you have such a level of personal freedom that europeans can't imagine. I grow up in the country that was a part of USSR and I know what is oppression and what is not. Things are my family was living on $30 per month when I was a child, now I make thousands per month. I can say, that peole are able to change their lives. And one thing that really required for it is - freedom. Freedom from political limitations and agendas, freedom of speech. US is loosing this crucial freedoms today in attempt to please everyone. It makes no sense whatsoever how anyone would voluntarily become a conservative in 2023, unless: You are young and stupid and you have no idea how the world works and you've fallen for conservative propaganda; you are rich and white; you are the heir or heiress of rich white parents; you were brought up in a conservative family that enforced its authoritative stance and ensured that their offspring don't and won't question authority (and it helped that you could inherit all the money that your parents will pass on to you, but ONLY if you toed the party line!) This is an excellent video which is applicable for most moderate societies. However, I don't come from one of those societies. Here's the an excellent way to understand it: In the conservative world view, there are the owners of the country and then there are the leeches. This usually is the dominant group in any society based on gender, race, etc. And also usually votes conservative. I could explain further but I think everyone gets it. If you're a leech in the conservative mindset, conservatives would expect a thank you note and then ask you to stop destroying the country.
